How do I change the pan?

Tap the pan name under MAKES on any card. Every vessel the recipe offers is drawn to scale. Use +/− beside it to make more than one.

Can I start from a weight instead of a pan?

Yes. Tap WEIGHT at the top of the card and enter a target. You can target the total batch weight or the flour weight, whichever is how you think about it.

Why don’t the two tables on a card add up?

Some cards have a component that is folded into another one — a poolish, a biga, a tangzhong. Its flour counts toward the formula’s percentages, but its weight is already inside the final dough, so adding both would double-count it.

Does it work offline?

Always. Bread Buddy has no network connection at all.

Does it sync between my devices?

Not currently. Stars and history are stored on each device separately.
